AFANG/UKAZI SOUP
RECIPE
Beef or goatmeat or catfish....500g
Dry fish.........200g
Stock fish
Ponmo (cubed)
Perewinkle.......2 Cups
Crayfish...............Half Milk Cup
Pepper.................2 Tbsp
Afang leaves(blended)....1big bunch
Waterleaves ( shredded)..3 Bunches
Palm oil............4 Cooking spoons
Meat stock ................,.250ml
Seasoning cubes.....,....6
Salt.
METHODS
1...Wash meat, add Stock fish/head,Ponmo, onions ,part of the seasoning and salt, steam for 5mins.
2...Add water and let boil till just done...like 30mins
3...Prepare the perewinkle by washing with plenty water until the water is clean. Cut off the bottom and wash again with boiling water and salt and set aside or you can boil and drain out the water.

4...Add the perewinkle, and half part of palm oil to the cooked meat mixture and cook for 3minutes.
5...Add water leaf allow to simmer for 3mins.
6...Add your Afang and stir.
7... Correct the seasoning by adding more knorr stir.
8... Add the remaining palm oil, stir and simmer for 3 minutes so it will still look greenish.
9...Soup is ready,serve with any swallow of your choice.
